Messy Play with Waterbeads and Goop

Our waterbeads were coming to their end of their life (some had started to go moldy!) so I decided it was time for one last playtime before we started a new batch  - and it was going to be a messy one!

Messy Play with Goop

I wasn't sure what would happen, but I wasn't expecting the solid mush we created - I think the beads absorbed some of the water from the goop and turned it solid, then the cornflour coated the beads and turned them solid - the result was bizzare - a lumpy colourful mixture we could literally crack in our hands!
