Shape Recognition Robot

Shape Recognition Robot for Preschoolers

We've been looking at shapes recently and starting to make pictures with them - mostly Vin has made trees that look like lollypops and square houses with very pointy triangular rooves. While he was hard at work I made a little robot for his wall.

I'm putting together a post on fun ways to do early-maths, particularly for boys (though little girls would love them too) - with lots of robots, dinosaurs and digger inspiration. How do you turn maths into a fun experience for your kiddos?

  1. This robot is adorable! I've been wanting to do some shape collages with my little ones, too. I know my son's would surely be something with wheels. And my daughters would turn into flowers probably. Thanks for the reminder!
