The Tiger Who Came to Tea Pretend Play Props

You might have noticed, lately we've been doing a lot of play inspired by stories, so when I saw this list of 21 Ideas for World Book Day from Nurturestore I was taking notes like crazy.

One of the suggestions was to make a tiger puppet to play out 'The Tiger who Came to Tea.' We love this book it's one of those silly lovely stories full of nostalgia and Vinnie loves it because there is a tiger in it (although he is always disappointed that the tiger doesn't eat Sophie and her mummy).

I cut out a tiger mask and stuck it on a popsicle stick to hold, then I set up a little playscene...

Simple props... so much fun.
