Rainbow Fruit Kabobs for Kids

It's hard not to feel a little happy when you see a rainbow of colours, whether it's a Rainbow Messy Play, a Colour Matching Game or a fruit kabob - I think that's why so many people celebrate St Patrick's Day even if (like us) you barely have a hint of Irish in your heritage!

I put a Rolo for a pot of gold at the end of our rainbow (I don't know why but I had convinced myself they came individually wrapped in gold paper - they don't so I made do!). I thought that by putting the chocolate on the skewer first it would encourage Vinnie to eat the fruit first - of course he just slid the chocolate off the other end (my own fault for attempting to raise a babygenius)

  2. I love your blog! We've adopted a lot of your ideas (I first saw you on pinterest with the sensory farm) and love them! I saw a rainbow plate of fruit like this that I was going to make for a St. Patty's day party for the kids, but the skewers are so much easier!

  3. Cute! If it makes you feel any better, I think Rolos used to come individually wrapped when I was a kid.

  5. They come individually wrapped if you buy a bag instead of a roll.
