DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS CRAFT ACTIVITY

I'm kinda late to jump on this bandwagon, I'd never even heard of 'Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus' until Vin pointed out a poster in the library. I'm not sure I really *get* what this bratty pigeon has to offer, but the kiddos seem to like it, and I get to practise my funny voices I guess.

I decided to take advantage of the super simple and cute illustrations to make our own story...
DON'T LET THE PIGEON STAY UP LATE PRESCHOOL CRAFT

I traced copied some of the pictures, folded them into a book and added blank speech bubbles for Vin to complete... this would probably work better with an older kid, Vinnie has that eccentric two and half year old vibe going on!

PRESCHOOL DON'T LET THE PIGEON' ACTIVITIES

After we'd finished the words, Vin coloured the illustrations with his new dot markers (also known as Bingo Dabbers I bought for cheap at the Post Office!)

Our story is called 'I am a Pigeon' (inventive no?) and it goes like this... 'Oh hello... I say nothing... I'd like a doggy... eat food... I am happy... I am blue... this is my head... my eyes are blue!! The End'

We are awaiting our nomination for a Pullitzer any day now...
