You might remember a couple of weeks ago when we did bubble mixing. Then I used a tiny amount of water and a lot of washing up liquid and let the kids use whisks to mix up the bubbles. This time we used an empty toiletries bottle with a squirty/dropper end to play with (this is a contact lens solution bottle, but this would work well with a washing up liquid or shampoo bottle too)
Vin noticed that if you held the bottle under the water you could make air bubbles and then the bottle would fill up so he could squirt it out and make soap bubbles too. I am calling this a mini-science lesson as well as sensory play and a fine motor exercise.
I call that a win all round considering it is made up of junk from the recycling!
