While we are leaning about Autumn we have been reading lots of books about hedgehogs, foxes and squirrels - we've even been out hunting for them in the park. I had planned to make these 'squashed hedgehogs' with pressed leaves, but I figured all of our Autumn stuff so far has been leaf-centric so far. I drew round the kiddo's hands and spent a naptime cutting them out. I sketched out a template for them and showed them how to fan out the prints in the right kinda shape. Then we had a gluing and sticking session with both the kiddos giggling as they gave their handprints a high-five to ensure maximum stuck-downess.
What do you guys think? Link up to your non leafy Autumn posts and we'll all share inspiration.
